Growing Our Band One Voice at a Time

Help me give my students the opportunity to experience a complete and balanced band with the addition of our first tenor saxophone.

My Project

Our small rural school has a young but growing band program, now in its third year. Nearly half of our middle school students participate in band, showing just how much our students value the opportunity to learn, perform, and grow through music.

As our program continues to grow, we are working to build a balanced ensemble with instrumentation needed for our students to succeed .

A tenor saxophone would provide an important missing voice in our band and allow our students to develop a fuller, stronger ensemble sound.

With this instrument, our students will have opportunities to perform a broader range of music and participate in festivals which will earn them a standards-based assessment. Your support will help our young musicians take an important next step in their musical journey and show them that even a small rural school can make a big sound!
