My Project

The goal is to teach my students how to start growing native plants from seeds and then use those plants in the restoration of the ground cover in the woodland ecosystem of our school's 7-arce Outdoor Ecology Lab.

Students will learn by actively restoring a woodland ground cover ecosystem.

The skills the student develop can be transferred to many aspect of adult life. The restoration of ecosystem we should students the interconnects of many elements in of the ecosystem. They will also learn how how they personal and better the environment with their individual efforts.
