My students are inquisitive, curious, and enjoy learning! I love that they always ask why behind questions and challenge each other to always be their best selves. Our school recently developed a STEAM Lab in order to engage these students with problem-based learning and hands-on activities. We are looking to receive STEAM kits and robotic materials to provide our students with the best learning experience possible.
Our students want to be prepared for the future and are asking for the tools to be successful in our STEAM Lab.
We are a Title I school in the heart of downtown Atlanta and would love any assistance with this project! It would help our students tremendously!
STEAM is the way of the future! We want to ensure that our scholars have ample opportunities to question, explore, and create what they see in the world around them. Our new STEAM Lab is preparing our scholars by enhancing their critical thinking skills through the Engineering Design process. Our goal is to create the next generation of scientists and innovators by teaching them about how to create and maintain an urban garden.
My students love to try new things and learn best by experiencing the world around them.
We are going to apply the concepts we will learn in class to create an indoor hydroponic garden and contribute to our community garden outdoors.
This project is unique because it allows the students to gain essential skills early on and gives them the opportunity to teach our students to contribute to their community. This relates to our core values of love, integrity ,perseverance, creativity, and leadership.
