My whole world is Kindergarten! Our grade level is composed of a diverse energetic bunch! They are sponges just soaking up learning. Most dominate in kinesthetic and visual learning. Several are English language learners. Most are from low economic status families.
I want them to grow up able to compete in today's global world.
My students love anything that allows them to be interactive or hands-on with learning!
I can't help but smile at the cute things they say. They truly have a unique perspective on life and the things that go on day to day.
My Project
This project is continued from the previous project for helping our Kindergarteners have technological resources to use during independent station time.
The two tablets will provide 2 more classes with the ability to use our Osmo Little Genius Starter Kits.
This helps to engage this generation in viewing the video and using objects to follow the directions. The headphones can also be used with the computers we already have and our tablets so as not to disturb other learning stations.
The Osmo learning games are self-checking and can be differentiated. Our Kindergarten scholars love the Osmo from the previous donation. The Osmo and iPads keep our scholars engaged in learning activities and they love repeating the games over and over again. They also gain real-world collaboration skills while learning to take turns and work together.
