My Students

My students come from a rural farming community. They are hard workers with great values and morals. They love to learn and are enthusiastic about new opportunities and challenges.

My class is a diverse group of learners with various abilities.

I have students who speak a language other than English, have special education needs, and have students who come from families that do not have the financial means to provide experiences outside of the school day. That is why I aim to provide daily instruction and activities that enrich the lives of my students!

My Project

Something as simple as a quick snack will make a HUGE impact on the learning for my students. Snacks will allow for my 4th graders to focus on learning, and not their empty stomach! Many of my students receive free or reduced lunch, and are unable to bring a snack from home. These students are the students who need something to feed their tummy the most. I want to provide my students with a snack such as pretzels or graham crackers when they come to school without one. They have a late lunch, and a quick snack will keep them full and focused the whole morning!
