This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my room, at the end of each day, I am faced with several students who continuously excel, all begging the question: "Well, what do I do now?"

Passion projects are additional interest projects proposed by students to help further their knowledge in the world of STEAM.

As students finish up, they have written me a project proposal for what they want to create and why. These are their choices! Several of my students have written proposals for a model engine kit, circuits, and so much more. This is a launching point for them to continue learning!

I want to challenge their thinking and provide them opportunities many cannot afford in our school. What drives their passion? How can this help build their future? How can they take this knowledge with them to high school?
