My Students
I teach third and fourth grade students who receive specialized instructions. My class is composed of a diverse group of learners. Each student is working towards various goals that are unique to their individual needs.
My students are a big ray of sunshine, all who are sweet and hard working individuals; and they greatly benefit from a variety of resources and tools.
I feel very privileged and appreciative to be a part of their learning journey. Each day, I reflect on how I can strengthen my teaching practices, including the resources that I can provide my students access with. Thus, I know I can turn to Donors Choose to aid in creating my dream classroom for my students! :)
My Project
This project is focused on building my classroom library, which is fairly sparse. I have introduced my students to a variety of books. They really showed a strong interest in reading more novels from "Nate The Great," "Junie B. Jones," and "The Magic Tree House" series.
I was extremely excited to witness their love for reading grow so much this year; and essentially, this project will enhance reading fluency and cultivate a love for reading in my class.
These books will enhance my classroom library. I can already see the smiles on their faces as they hold these books in their hands. My students are growing into lifelong readers!
