My Project

My students are 6 and 7-year-olds in first grade. This age group learns so much from hands-on experiences and project-based learning.

I would love to give them the experience of observing plant growth up close.

In our first grade standards, the students will learn how plants grow and change. They will learn what plants need in order to grow, and they will learn to identify and name the parts of a plant. What better way to learn than with an up close and personal experience with growing their own vegetables?

Please help me provide my first grade class this fun learning experience.
