My Project

Our school is a low-income school that works hard to battle the effects of poverty. One of our most important goals is to do all that we can to nurture our students to become good citizens who take pride in their school, their behavior, and their academics. We have adopted a PBIS program (Positive Behavioral and Support program) to help our students become more aware of how their behavior affects their learning. A large part of this program involves recognizing and rewarding students for making positive choices.

Having supplies for bulletin boards, certificates, and quarterly rewards will help our students get the recognition and rewards that they work so hard to earn.

Our students love seeing their names and photos on bulletin boards throughout the school recognizing them for behavior or attendance. They work hard to earn small rewards such as action figures or bracelets. Our hope is to continue to encourage their positive decisions not only at school but in the community as well.
