My Project

I love that our students are naturally curious about the natural outdoor world around them, especially when it comes to observing birds and exploring the plants in our building garden. Their excitement when they spot a new bird or try a vegetable they helped grow shows how powerful hands-on learning can be. As we continue to expand what we have available, we hope to keep growing their curiosity about nature and the environment.

A digital bird feeder will allow students to closely observe and identify different birds, strengthening their observation and inquiry skills.

Wooden raised garden beds will give students the opportunity to plant, care for, and harvest a wider variety of vegetables, providing meaningful, hands-on experiences that connect science, responsibility, and healthy eating. Together, these resources will help nurture their curiosity while giving them more opportunities to learn directly from the natural world.
