My Students

Distance learning has proved to have many challenges. Every day about a total of 13 students are able to log into our virtual classroom. My students are excited to see each other and want to be back in the classroom.

My students look forward to learning each day.

Those who are unable to log into our Google classroom, are working hard and doing their very best. I try to keep in contact with all my students over various portals. We all miss one another very much.

My Project

My students have studied various landforms and soil this year. To help them remember what they learned and give them a fun activity to do with their family, I want to provide a crystal growing kit for each student. The students will be proud to show off their crystals and will eagerly share how the crystals were made and researched information for the crystals they have created.

Help my students create a lasting reminder of a great science unit.

I want to make this activity extra special for my students. I believe the students will remember this lesson for years to come with a memento they have created themselves.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
