My Project

My elementary ESOL students are eager readers who are learning a new language while also finding their voices. The books and workbooks in this project will give them the opportunity to practice reading in a way that feels meaningful, joyful, and empowering. These materials will not only support their language development, but will also build their confidence as readers.

What makes this project especially special is that these books will allow my students to read to other students—sharing stories, building connections, and realizing that they are capable leaders in our school community.

When multilingual learners are given access to the right books, they don’t just learn to read—they learn that their voices matter. Your donation helps create moments of pride, belonging, and success for students who are working so hard every day.
