Exposing children, especially ESOL children, to different avenues to literacy is the key approach for their success. Many of these students do not have books at home and have never seen written Spanish or heard the books read to them. We have many new level 1 English learners who would love this for our classroom. Every day they come to us for small group so being able to offer the listening center for them would be such a great addition to our classroom. I started a Reading Buddies program this year so the older ESOL students practice their oral language skills by reading to the K and 1st grade classes. It has been very successful so having this would help develop their skills. Thank you
