Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For the majority of my class, this is their first academic experience that sets them up for future academic success. I have chosen materials that are fun and educational such as alphabet letter puzzles, stacking number blocks, and literacy centers. I have also included whiteboards and sound-spelling cards that will help increase their phonemic awareness skills. These materials will allow for differentiation and learning through play. They will enable me to provide academic support, as well as extension activities for varying ability levels.
By donating to our project, you will be providing my kindergarten students with materials that will help them to learn in an authentic way that keeps them engaged.
They are very energetic and enjoy collaborating with each other. As a teacher, one of my goals is to create learning experiences that foster creativity, inquiry, and collaboration.
