Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a classroom teacher, I am always looking for ways to improve my instruction and better support my students’ learning. This iPad will be an essential tool in helping me grow professionally by giving me access to high-quality training, digital resources, and innovative teaching strategies that I can immediately apply in my classroom.

With the iPad, I plan to participate in online professional development courses through platforms such as Coursera, edX, and teacher training webinars.

I also plan to use educational apps like Canva to design engaging lesson materials, Google Classroom to organize instruction, and Zoom to attend live workshops and collaborate with other educators. Additionally, I will use the iPad to research best practices in literacy instruction, classroom management, and supporting English Language Learners—areas that directly impact my current students.

This technology will also allow me to explore new teaching tools that I would not otherwise have access to. For example, I can download interactive learning apps, create visual presentations, and develop differentiated activities tailored to my students’ needs. I will also use the iPad to track student progress, take notes during observations, and reflect on my teaching practices.

The impact on my classroom will be immediate and meaningful. By improving my skills and accessing new strategies, I will be able to create more engaging lessons, better support diverse learners, and provide a more organized and effective learning environment. Ultimately, this project will not only enhance my professional growth but also directly improve student outcomes and classroom experiences.
