Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At my school we have this medium size garden area. I have watched my connections students work on their own garden this year and I loved seeing there plants go and I would love to do this my younger grades. I want to get seeds like tomatoes, strawberries, carrots and cucumbers so that I can plant with my younger grades and let them see how the plants grow each day. I will use the reusable seed starter to start the growing process of our vegetables and flowers. Once the seeds are established we will move them the medium size garden. The soil will help with getting this process started. I also want to get some recycling cans in my classroom so that I can start recycling paper, plastic and cans. I will use the literature organizer for my Chromebook storage in my classroom.
