This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to explore the outdoors. We have recently been learning about the stages of a butterfly. Since going outside and seeing real life butterfly’s fly around the school my kids started asking questions such as: “how do they grow”, “where is their home”, “are they small first”. My kids have been so impressed with butterflies I knew we had to see it for ourselves.

Please help my students learn how a butterfly grows by donating to our project that way my students can experience how real life butterflies grow and the progress.

This will help them to visualize the process first hand. We plan to use the materials to show the students how butterflies start as caterpillars and then eventually become a butterfly. This process for them is so complex seeing it first hand will be extremely exciting. My students will truly appreciate all the help!
