My students are bright and want to achieve greatness.
They are creative and eager to learn. My scholars are excited to be in school and I am excited to be with them. I believe in them and I believe with the right resources they can achieve greatness.
Our school is a Title I school. Living in a low socio economic school community, our student population is predominantly in temporary housing or in shelters. We provide 100% free breakfast and lunch to our students. 10% of our students are experiencing homelessness.
My students are eager to learn and are excited when they can experience new ways of learning.
My Project
Having a kidney table is essential for my students to work cooperatively and actively with the teacher. A kidney shaped table would help with small group instruction. Children are more focused when they are in close proximity to the teacher. When children are focused they are able to make greater strides in gaining the academic skills they need.
A kidney table will be beneficial to the learning experience of my students.
We currently have individual desks and it's difficult to work in groups. This table will help me meet the needs of each individual student within the groups. With a kidney shaped table I can sit in the middle and easily see what each child is doing. This table will also help the students by allowing them to work cooperatively.
This kidney table will make learning easier through powerful small group interactions. My students love to learn and work together as a community. Please help me to help my students by making learning fun and bringing my students closer together.
