Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Preschools are curious and playful. Gross motor is a great way to get your wiggles out. Through this project we will be able to serve preschoolers that are in Early Intervention and that have multiple disabilities. The use of the bounce house in gross motor group with increase sensory input and social engagement for our early intervention preschoolers. The sensory toys and activities will be utilized in an at home kit to be sent home for summer.

Our preschool population in our urban school district have difficulty getting the necessary gross motor and sensory activities for at home and summer physical therapy work.

This project will help our youngest learners know the importance of gross motor movement and sensory play.
