My Project

This year, I was fortunate enough to be a part of a project that provided money for a greenhouse, to add to our small school garden. However, we are in need of everything that goes inside of the greenhouse! We have been able to get some smaller supplies, and we need help purchasing raised beds and more supplies for inside.

Working in the garden and in the greenhouse is helpful for the students minds and bodies and has been proven to improve academic success in school.

Most of our students have never worked with their hands in a garden before and they take great pride in the small harvests they have been able to be a part of in the garden. We built the greenhouse to be able to extend the growing seasons throughout the whole year. Your help in purchasing these supplies will help students be able to step outside and learn valuable lessons on conservation, communication, health, nutrition, self-sufficiency, self-control, patience, hard work, and so much more.
