Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My second graders are a group of very interested students. They love to ask questions and learn about as much as they can.

I would love to be able to plant flowers and grass seed with the students as we learn about the life cycle of a plant.

Through this process, students will be able to take care of their seeds each day by watering them and making sure they are getting enough light. When finished, students will be able to gift their plant to someone at home or decorate their house or porch with them.
