My Project

This book will provide my students with a diverse collection of Greek mythology stories that will deepen their understanding of mythology while strengthening essential literacy skills. Through daily reading activities, students will build reading comprehension by analyzing characters, themes, conflicts, and important details across a variety of myths. The text will also support daily writing tasks that encourage students to cite evidence, summarize, compare stories, and express their ideas clearly. Its flexibility makes it an excellent resource for whole-class instruction, small-group intervention, and independent practice, allowing me to differentiate instruction based on student needs. Throughout the unit, students will apply what they have learned in a culminating project that demonstrates their understanding of Greek mythology while showcasing their growth as readers, writers, and critical thinkers.
