My students need more games to explore learning possibilities with their peers. I print and laminate a lot of materials, but as my students mature, grow, and develop, they seek to use better hands-on learning items.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing. Maybe I am a little partial... We do a lot with what minimal we have and I would love to see their growth potential soar with new and exciting items in our classroom.
We are a Title I school in Pasadena, TX where Hurricane Harvey made landfall during our first week of school this year.
Our school community was majorly affected by this natural disaster, even students and staff having their homes flooded and being rescued and displaced. I received two new students in the aftermath. We are Houston Strong!
My classroom family works hard and I am so proud of them! My students are like sponges! I love them all so much. Their potential is limitless. To help my students be their best academically, I would like to have some items to make our learning more engaging. Thank you!
My Project
Learning does not have to be boring. It makes sense to add items to our classroom that not only teach math, science, spelling, or reading, but also encompasses good character traits such as being a gracious winner and a "I will get it next time" mentality when one does not win.
It would be exciting to see my kindergarten classroom family support one another as they engage in learning while playing with educational games and puzzles.
Lessons such as this are HUGE in social development and growth; and it touches on all facets encountered throughout life.Thank you for checking out my project!
