My 5th graders are a group of enthusiastic, creative learners who love to read. I want to help foster a lifelong love of literature by continuing to provide the latest releases in children's literature. We are over 3/4 of the way through the school year, and I want to keep my kids as engaged as possible.
This collection covers a wide range of genres, styles, and authors and there is something for each of my students.
Sequels such as The One and Only Family, Skandar and the Chaos Trials, Momo Arashima Breaks the Mirror of the Sun, and Winnie Zeng Shatters the Universe will be big hits with the class. Stand-alone titles like Bumps in the Night, The First State of Being, Partition Project, and the Secret Library will also quickly make their mark.
If this project fills quickly, the books will arrive just in time for the last month of school. Having nearly 40 new books will energize my students' reading and keep their motivation running high. These books will help the class finish the year strong and ensure they are equipped for further success next year in middle school. Thank you!
