This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a literacy interventionist that works with 3-5th grade students. I want to be able to provide graphic novels to my older students that are more engaging, age-appropriate reading material that is more sophisticated and challenging. Graphic novels are a great way to engage my older students as it combines visual storytelling with complex themes and narratives. These books will provide access for students to develop their literacy skills while exploring new stories through the medium of graphic storytelling.

These graphic novels are of high interest among my students and will provide a valuable resource that will support their educational and personal growth.
