My Project
Fifth-grade students are bright and energetic. These scholars are at different academic levels and have an array of talents. In addition to the array of talents, these scholars have a wide range of reading interests and strengths. Graphic novels allow students to access grade level content.
Recent research shows that Graphic Novels support reading comprehension for ALL ranges of readers.
When the learning environment and resources fit student interest and readability level, scholars come in daily with a positive attitude, ready and willing to learn. Graphic Novels allow students to continue to grow and bloom as readers and writers!
