My Students

My third-grade class is a place of reading, writing, exploring, and learning. Our school serves many military students and my students spend this year learning the foundation of reading to learn new information and applying it to all subjects. Students are constantly learning through different technology resources.

My students are the most amazing group of kids you will ever meet.

We are a class who loves to read at any opportunity we have! We have a love for chapter books and would love to build our library in include a larger variety of chapter books.

My Project

Third grade is a year where students go from perfecting their reading skills to using their reading skills to learn new information. Students will use Chromebooks on a daily basis to access Google Classroom and complete independent tasks. Some of these tasks will be using websites to read, and complete writing tasks that align with the standards. They will become proficient at using the internet to find articles that go with the novels we read and they will be able to learn even more about what we are reading. Chromebooks in the classroom will make this a lot easier because they will be able to complete these tasks at their desk.
