Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a pre-k blended class of students with special needs and VPK kids. My students are eager to learn and love helping their classmates. I have many students with Autism who are non-verbal, as well as students with Down Syndrome, speech/language/hearing impairments, and developmental delays.
My VPK students love helping their peers out, whether by holding their hands and helping them through the breakfast line or running to hug them when they go home.
I am requesting materials for our pre-k graduation ceremony for our kids who are moving on to Kindergarten. We have 3 pre-k classes that are growing bigger, so we are in need of some extra caps and gowns.
Color ink will be used to print their certificates with photos, and they will be given bracelets, paper caps, and rubber ducks after the ceremony.
