My Students

How exciting would it be for my scholars to have rigorous activities to increase their learning abilities? As a teacher at a Title I low-income school, I educate students who receive free or reduced-price lunches.

My kindergarten classroom is a nurturing class, where students feel safe and comfortable.

Kindergarten is a vital year for my students, being their first experience with education. My students come to school daily, curious to learn and explore new things. Often, my scholars are nervous about reading because of the fear of saying the wrong thing.

My Project

These food items like pudding, ramen, and oatmeal will help my kinders make it through the weekend and spring break. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day. Sometimes the only foods in their house are the things I am sending home them during the weekend. These non perishable items are helping fill a need in our hungry children. When our students receive this food they can come to school on Monday with full tummies and they can be ready to learn. They can concentrate on their academics rather than the hunger that they are feeling. It is so hard to watch children be hungry. You generous donations help.
