Good Hygiene for Good Mental and Physical Health

My Project

My amazing students with disabilities are some of the most incredible, hard-working people that I know. They come to school every day eager to learn and work. We spend a lot of time in our outdoor classroom learning a variety of skills such as vocational skills, gardening and Special Olympics activities. We work with our students teaching them the importance of good hygiene skills.

Good hygiene is so important in life, and affects ones ability to maintain relationships as well as holding down a job.

My students have basic hygiene kits, thanks to the generosity of wonderful donors like yourself. Our females struggle with concerns, especially during their monthly cycle. We are requesting feminine hygiene wipes that students will be able to add to their hygiene kit. We are also requesting mouthwash and small cups, so that teachers can dispense cups of mouthwash to students when they need it.
