This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students come to school already brilliant, kind and with the potential to put all their amazing qualities to work! Our students come from various financial backgrounds and many do not have access to basic hygiene products, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, shampoo, and lip balm.

When students are able to come to school feeling clean and refreshed, they can focus their energy and efforts on their academics.

The kit will include toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, lotion, bars of soap and shampoo. These basic hygiene kits will allow our students to feel confident in themselves and provide a fresh start to their day!
