This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Have you tried learning, working, or attempting a difficult task while hungry?

It is a challenge for adults, let alone kids who are still developing and need brain fuel.

These food items will allow for basic nutrition needs to be met within the classroom and school setting. Some kids don't have food at home and rely on what they receive at school for all of their nutrition, and sometimes breakfast and lunch aren't enough. Providing snacks for kids in need will allow kids to learn and stay in class, rather than go to the nurse for a stomach ache or shut down due to hunger. We appreciate your support!
