Good Citizens Keep Our Classroom Clean!

My Project

I am the teacher of 30 energetic and remarkable 6th grade students! Each morning my students walk through the door and are greeted with new opportunities to learn, be successful, and take ownership of their education. My students are very creative and, as their teacher, I do my best to foster their learning and provide opportunities to grow as individuals.

Each and every afternoon, my students take time to clean our classroom so that it is ready for the next day.

In our classroom, we believe that we are responsible for our messes and for keeping our classroom clean. The whiteboards are cleaned, the sink is wiped down, the garbage cans are emptied and bags are replaced, desks are wiped down, and the floor is cleaned. Students pick up even the tiniest pieces of garbage off of the floor so that it looks clean and tidy.

The dusters will allow us to keep our shelf areas, classroom library, and window sills dust free. The white board cleaner will help remove marker residue from the board. The dustpans, brush sets, and vacuum will allow us to quickly clean up small messes during the day.

We take a lot of pride in our classroom environment. With the help of our generous supporters and DonorsChoose, we will be able to keep our classroom cleaner than ever!
