Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Regular classroom chairs can be so boring and sometimes uncomfortable. Students should have more options on where they sit and how they choose to engage in learning.

These flexible seating options come in cool bright colors and will be the perfect cushion for students to sit on while in whole group or during independent practice.

An adjustable teacher desk will allow me to stand or sit comfortably as I am teaching lessons and working with students. Allowing students to have an opportunity to select their mode of seating each day will provide them with a sense of freedom while holding them accountable for learning as they are being supported with 21st century chairs.
