This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I am requesting are for our newly formed Fishing Club at our school. Your donation will not only help students currently in the Fishing Club this year, but will also help students who join the club in the future.

You can help to provide fishing rods, tools, and other equipment necessary for me to teach my students how to fish and provide this new experience for them.

Most of the students in Fishing Club have never been fishing before. My goal is to introduce students to a new activity and hopefully help them develop a passion for fishing. Many of the students at my school come from low-income families and cannot afford to purchase equipment of their own. The students at my school will greatly benefit from your donations because they will have equipment available to learn how to fish.
