This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are just bursting with energy and joy. Stuck indoors most days, I want them to experience the beauty of being outside, enjoying the fresh air, exercising, seeing scenic views, and enjoy the love and comradery of a gentleman's game, golf.

Teaching my inner city, low-income students (girls and boys) how to enjoy the calm, relaxing game of golf in an environment that's not always conducive to tranquility.

Learning how to play golf will be a great way to keep in touch with friends. help in reducing stress (as a result of the physical activity and also due to the pleasure of walking in an open and natural environment), challenge themselves, build character, and provide opportunities to meet new people. and help develop a sense of community connectedness.
