This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of energetic, aspirational learners. They work hard and are staying positive during these difficult times. I believe in the potential of each and every one of them.

These exceptional first graders have an eagerness to learn even in a virtual setting Zoom.

Each student brings a uniqueness and an excitement for learning and is an important member of our classroom community.

My Project

My students and their families have been giving their all when it comes to distance learning. My students are all able to connect to Zoom classes and trying their best to learn virtually. However, my students need more than a computer screen to truly accomplish their learning goals..

These 6 and 7 year olds are in need of some hands-on learning!

With the supples here, they will be able to build words with letter tiles, use counters to do math problems and understand more complex concepts, and even do some art!
