Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are eager to earn Hawk coins for exemplifying our PBIS SOAR behaviors - Safe, Organized, Accountable, and Respectful.

Students love to show off their SOAR expectations throughout the school and classroom and our teachers and staff LOVE to reward these positive behaviors!

Our students earn Hawk Coins throughout their day and have their very own bank accounts in which to keep their coins. I am requesting candy, felt tip pens, Tamagotchi games and more! Throughout the month, students can purchase items from the Hawk Store or choose to save their coins for a larger purchase. This teaches students financial literacy; the value of earning, spending, and saving. We love to see our students be strategic in their spending!
