My Students

Our school is in the beautiful red rock country of Southern Utah. My students are clever, curious, and inspirational! This particular group of students has been most affected my Covid-19 as they missed 3-4 months (or more!) of in-person learning in 1st&2nd grade because of quarantine! They are severely behind and lack the skills of other typical 3rd Graders. Like most 9 year old's, they are full of questions and love to explore and investigate! As educators, we are teaching them 21st century skills they will need to be successful adults. We encourage them to try new things, to be brave, and take chances in order to grow both academically and personally.

My goal is to provide my students with as much support at school as I am able so that they are set up for success in the future.

This includes a safe place to make mistakes and be able to learn, adapt, and grow. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to

My Project

This particular group of 3rd grade students is trying to catch up from missing 3-4 months of in-person school, (or more!) during 1st and 2nd grade. They are closing the learning gap but need a little extra help.

These are such important years in a child's school career, solidifying phonics, reading, and math skills.

These supplies will help keep us in school by minimizing the spread of germs, increase our productivity, and organization. We use disinfecting wipes to keep us as safe as possible. We have to limit sharing supplies, like work folders and center supplies.

We are so excited to be at school and these items will help a lot!
