Going Paperless: Teaching 21st Century Skills
My students need 4 laptops in order to learn 21st century skills to prepare them for the workplace and to research and complete National History Day Projects.
Help us to learn 21st century skills and to go paperless! We need laptops to participate in National History Day!
I teach 8th graders in 5-8 middle school.
Most of my students have limited access to technology at home. They need opportunities to interact with technology on a daily basis in order to prepare them for the workplace. They desperately need to develop those 21st century skills that will be required of them in the job market.
These 4 laptops will help us to continue our quest to complete web based research projects and to participate in National History Day. These laptops will allow us to publish our 9/11 Oral Histories online, to create websites on the Black Plague, create documentaries and podcasts on the American Revolution, and to research and plan performances on various historical events.
Please help us to develop 21st century skills, go paperless, participate in National History Day, and bring history to life in our classroom.
Your donation will have a lasting impact on these students and those that follow them.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
