Going Green With The Green Screen!

My students need a green screen kit and resources to create movies and pictures that will show them helping to support the environment!

My Students

This kindergarten classroom is ready save the world! We want to grow up surrounded by the beauty our planet has to offer and we can only do this by learning how to be aware of our environment and proactive!

Kindergarten starts the path of a wonderful adventure into independent learning and decision-making!

These little ones will walk into a classroom scared and unsure of what to do, and by the end of the year they will be confident, with heads held high, knowing that the next school year will be easier and full of new adventures!

We want to start being more aware of our environment, and what better way to leave a paperless trail than to use technology? Our class wants to purchase materials to start using the green screen in the classroom. We will make movies and create pictures that show the many different ways we can help to save our environment!

My Project

Our class wants to create environmentally friendly, paperless trail, videos and photographs to show the different ways we are learning how to save our environment! We want to incorporate the technology of using the green screen in the classroom to start making fun projects such as newscasts, or by making it look like we are in different places in the world! The green screen would allow for students to superimpose videos and pictures in the background behind them to make it look like they are in different places around the world! We would create images that show what different places look like when they are heavily polluted, compared to what they would look like if the environment was cleaned up! The microphones can be connected to our I-Pad to help better hear student voices in the background. The tripod would be used to hold our I-Pad when filming and taking pictures. Finally, the clamps would be used to hold down our green screen kit background to get the best possible results.

Our world is becoming cluttered with all of the different types of pollution that the population is producing on a daily basis.

In using the green screen we will be leaving a paperless trail, yet still showcasing our learning in a productive way that students and families can remember digitally for the rest of their lives!
