Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We want to go for the Imagery Award at our competitions. In order to do so, we are going to mimic the style of football players and their team attributes.

We need yellow traffic cones and elastic string to make our hats; students will receive a purple block sticker with a lightning bolt on it whenever we accomplish a specific goal - similar to how football players receive stickers on their helmet for a good play on the field.

We also need t-shirts for the students to wear. These activities help the students in social-emotional development areas, including leadership, teamwork, and cooperation.

Finally, we need purple cube storage containers to put in our pit area to hold coats and supplies, to keep it organized.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
