My Project

Have you ever taken a trip to a planetarium? If so, do you remember how amazing it was seeing all the stars and planets so close you could touch them?

My students do not have the opportunity to go to a planetarium so I would like to bring the planetarium to them.

Research has shown that the immersive environment and unique capabilities of a digital planetarium positively influenced students’ attitudes, learning, retention, and thinking. I would like to utilize the star projector and accompanying discs to bring the constellations, solar system and galaxies to my students for an immersive experience that will bring these things to life. Traditionally, our students struggle on formal assessments that address the solar system, Iam hoping to close that gap with this project.
