This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One of the primary advantages of a glass calendar is its physical visibility. Placed in a central location within a classroom, a glass calendar allows students to have a clear and constant view of important dates, assignments, and events. Most importantly it will allow my students to map out the standards so that they can better organize their study time, and allow for planning of personal, sports, and school events so that they still allow themselves time for mastery of the key standards. This visibility contributes to a more organized mindset, helping students prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively. It is a practical and innovative solution to promote organization and efficiency among students.

In a classroom setting, collaboration is essential.

Traditional paper calendars may be confined to an individual's desk, limiting their impact on group projects or collaborative assignments. Glass calendars, on the other hand, provide a communal space where my students and I can easily share information about deadlines, project milestones, and class events. This fosters a sense of community and encourages teamwork among students.
