My Project

The Goal Ball machine will be used when our students meet their weekly literacy and math goals. Weekly progress monitoring assessments can be daunting or less than enjoyable. This will be a motivating tool to encourage students to work hard at literacy and math and try their best on their weekly progress monitoring. Students who make growth toward their goal will get to come down to the goal board and get to twist the handle on the machine for a goal ball.

Students will also get to put a sticker on the Goal Board in the hallway.

This will be an incredible tool to motivate and encourage our students.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
