This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students work very hard to manage their behaviors and to have academic growth. They overcome obstacles and persevere to achieve their goals. I like to reward my students efforts with varied incentives. Each week they are given a paycheck. They can use their money to shop at our classroom store. Our store opens weekly on Fridays. The snacks, sharpies and squishmallows will be used as incentives in our classroom store. The students love purchasing snacks and small toys. If there are larger items they must save up to pay for said items. This teaches students the skill of budgeting and the concept of purchasing goods and services.
