Using these materials, my students were able to engage with the experiment using their own hands, rather than simply watching me perform a demonstration. This opportunity is invaluable to their education and keeps them engaged and interested in exploring the wonders of the natural world.\r\n\r\nThe plastic beakers were able to be used in both experiments, doubling as a waste beaker for the precipitation experiment and a reaction vessel for the elephant toothpaste reaction.\r\n\r\nThese supplies have already paid dividends, but I have plans to use them for even more fun and exciting experiments this semester. The digital balances will be crucial in a future experiment using chalk which will help them understand the concept of stoichiometry and bridge the gap between the unseen molecules they have spent so many months investigating. Both the glass and the plastic beakers will be essential for performing any number of experiments, ranging from the acid-base lab in which they will see and create their own pH scale to the aluminum can crushing lab in which they will be able to visually prove Boyle's Law.\r\n\r\nMy students and I thank you for your generosity and look forward to another amazing semester!","fullyFundedDate":1763929873996,"projectUrl":"project/creating-the-scientists-of-tomorrow-toda/9900522/","projectTitle":"Creating the Scientists of Tomorrow Today!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Sze","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10352829_orig.jpg?crop=1768,1768,x224,y104&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1763410275446","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10352829"},{"teacherId":1306516,"projectId":9250954,"letterContent":"My students are enjoying their couch and the scented markers.
