Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have many reluctant readers who shy away from traditional books but love graphic novels and Manga. My goal this year is to update my graphic novel collection with new titles that will promote reading and encourage these reluctant readers to pick up and borrow a book!

Graphic novels are great addition to any school library!

They are not just comic books. They provide students visuals as well as words to depict stories that have meaningful plot twists and characters. Students who don't have the patience or skills for a traditional book often gravitate to graphic novels.
