Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

You can help us maintain a creative curriculum! I am a first grade Spanish Immersion teacher with more than half of my class on the Free or Reduced Lunch Program.

Due to the budget cuts, our classroom funds accounts are no longer existent. This means there is no more money to purchase everyday classroom supplies needed to reinforce my curriculum.

Overhead and Dry Erase markers are a necessary tool in a primary classroom because they help reinforce visual learning. Graph, drawing and construction paper provide students an opportunity to supplement their learning with hands-on activities which, in turn, help develop fine motor skills. Tape and glue...well they keep all their wonderful creations together.

Children should not suffer these educational hardships we are facing. Please help me maintain an enjoyable and creative learning environment for my first graders.
