This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach mathematics to 60 seventh grade students in a small city in South Texas. Our campus is 88% low income and many students come to school without any materials.

As we are now in the second semester of the school year, our classroom is lacking the essential supplies we need to function, such as glue sticks, lined paper, Kleenex, and hand sanitizer.

My goal is to provide students with the glue sticks and paper they need so that they can keep them in their backpack and utilize them in their other 8 class periods. Your donation will greatly benefit my students and our classroom.
